Who We Are

Romeo's Road was founded in memory of an amazing dachshund named Romeo.

Romeo was a beloved pet and family member of Romeo's Road founder Stefani Logue. Romeo developed tumors on his stomach that were later diagnosed as an advanced and aggressive form of cancer. Grateful that Romeo was being treated and haunted by the pain of others whose pets were not, Stefani decided to create Romeo’s Road in an attempt to remove financial barriers from life-saving treatment for family pets.

These board members volunteer their time and energy to make Romeo's Road a reality.

Stefani Logue

President

Stefani is the founding member and driving force behind Romeo’s Road. Stefani has benefited throughout her life from the comfort and companionship of pets, having adopted, rescued and fostered dozens of cats and dogs over the years. Stefani currently has three dogs and two cats, all of which she rescued or adopted.

Erika Grandberg

Vice-President

Erika is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker providing individual psychotherapy to veterans.  Through the experience gained by over 25 years of social work, Erika has witnessed firsthand the wisdom of the saying that “The best therapist often has 4 legs and fur.”  Driven to relieve the anxiety and stress experienced by pet owners when their beloved companions need help, Erika is excited to contribute to the mission of Romeo’s Road.

Geralyn McGuire-Dicey

Secretary

Geralyn was born and raised in New York City and moved to Florida after retiring.  At the top of her list for enjoying a meaningful and fulfilling retirement was the goal of giving back to her community, focusing primarily on animal welfare.  Geralyn is excited to help give pet owners the ability to make healthcare decisions about their pets without the worrisome burden of financial limitations.

Nancy Hauber

Treasurer

Nancy has a lifelong passion for helping animals in need and is currently the proud owner of three rescue cats (“furry family members” as she calls them).  In honor of all her pets past, present and future, Nancy is compelled to pay it forward by helping to provide others the opportunity to continue experiencing the love and companionship their pets give them.
